Accessibility statement.
We want everyone to be able to use this website.
How this website is built
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We last checked the website in October 2026 with automated tests. The CQC rating boxes and the SoundCloud player are provided by others and may not fully meet this standard.
Body text is at least 18 pixels. Smaller text, never under 15 pixels, is used only for menus, breadcrumbs, short labels, names under quotes, hints under form fields and the footer. Text and buttons have strong contrast, our own links and buttons are at least 24 pixels high, and nothing on the page moves by itself.
Keyboard use
In October 2026 we checked 10 pages with a keyboard alone in Chrome on a computer, and the home page also at phone width. The pages: the home page, contact, areas, careers, the privacy and cookie pages, and the pages with our four forms. On those pages the Tab key reached every link, button and form field, each showed a visible focus outline, the "Skip to content" link moved to the page content, the menu at phone width opened with Enter, the postcode checker worked with Enter, and the forms could be filled in. We have not yet tested other browsers or screen readers. If something does not work with your keyboard, please tell us.
Making text bigger
You can zoom in up to 200% in your browser without losing content. On most computers, hold Ctrl (Cmd on a Mac) and press the plus key.
