How to raise a concern with the council
Every council has a safeguarding team. Find the council where the person lives. For a child: report child abuse on GOV.UK. For an older person: report abuse of an older person on GOV.UK.
How our carers are prepared
Every carer trains in safeguarding adults and children at the Soma Healthcare Academy. Trainees learn the legal and practical aspects of safeguarding, how to identify abuse or neglect, and the proper steps for reporting. DBS checks are completed after a successful interview, before work starts.
